Meet the Principal

Andrea Larkey

I bring 28 years of passion and experience in education to my role as Principal of Franke Park Elementary. I am a proud graduate of Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in education. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to serve in many roles including classroom teacher, literacy specialist, assistant principal, district instructional coach and principal in other area school districts.

Now in my third year at Franke Park I feel incredibly honored to lead such a vibrant student-centered school community. Franke Park Elementary is truly a special place filled with dedicated educators, curious learners and supportive families. There is a deep sense of pride, purpose and connection that you can feel the moment you walk through the doors. I am continually inspired by the teamwork, resilience and heart that define the Franke Park experience.

Outside of school I have been married for 32 years and have two grown children with families of their own. I am also a proud grandmother of two. I enjoy traveling, exploring new places and spending meaningful time with my family.
